3-D Photoshop Cubes

Friday post: Jan. 20

WHAT DID I LIKE ABOUT THE COURSE?

I enjoyed the javascript and code combat sections the most, mainly because it will be very useful for me to know since I want to be a game designer when I graduate. It was also one of the more difficult projects to do which was good. I also enjoyed doing the photoshop projects.

WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED?

Some of the projects didn't work properly, for example the 3d cube project which only works on some computers. Also making the ed keychains didn't always work. It took me a lot longer than it should have to make the YouTube logo and the chess piece. I also think you should make the Minecraft projects a little harder by adding a possible "Bonus" redstone challenge for extra marks or something like that. I also think we should play less games or at least more interesting and "Fun" games. I also don't like having to post everything on a blog. I suck at writing and it really ruins my experience in this class a bit. I was not born to blog.

Steps To Making Oval Keychain:

1. make a rectangle the size of 100, 40 (mm). When making the rectangle, just type down those numbers.
2. use the tape measure tool and make a line through the long side 5mm inside the rectangle on both sides.
3. on the short side, make a tape measure line 20mm inside the rectangle on both sides.
4. use the 2 point arc tool and make a half circle on both of the ends using the 20mm lines. ignore the 5mm ones for now.
5. use both types of lines to make another half circle on both sides facing the same direction. keep growing the arc until you see "Half Circle" show up.
6. draw lines on the 5mm line to make the two arcs into a shape.
7. Erase the outside and inside of your shape so you just have the shape.
8. Use the push pull tool to grow the shape upwards by 5mm.
9. Add anything you want in the middle. Make sure the items are touching the shape enough to stick once printed.
10. You are done!!!!!

FINAL GRADE PREDICTION!

I believe I deserve this grade because I have been working hard to get these projects done and I think I've done a good job on them. I also think I did better than last year.
I've predicted 4% more than in September because I feel that I'm doing better than last year. If my memory is correct, I got 89% last year. I could be wrong though.
